What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. Plain English, no dark patterns.

1. Who we are
LM Cloud Consulting Ltd ("LM Cloud", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question you can reach us at info@lmcloud-consulting.com.
2. What data we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and run our business. That includes:
- Contact details you give us — your name, email address, company, and the content of any message you send through our contact form or by email.
- Usage data — anonymised analytics about how you use this site (pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type), collected via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
- Security data — a reCAPTCHA Enterprise risk score and related signals used solely to tell humans from bots when you submit the contact form.
3. How we use your data
We process your personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and provide the services you ask us about;
- manage our relationship with you as a client or prospective client;
- protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse;
- measure and improve how the site performs; and
- comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
4. Legal bases
Under UK GDPR we rely on legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, securing our site, and understanding how it is used), consent (non-essential analytics cookies, which you can decline), performance of a contract (where you become a client), and legal obligation (for example, keeping accounting records).
5. Sharing and third parties
We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and our business, and only as far as they need it:
- EmailJS — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
- Google — reCAPTCHA Enterprise (anti-spam) and Google Analytics.
- Microsoft — Clarity product analytics, and Microsoft 365 for our email.
- Calendly — when you book a call through the embedded scheduler.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client records are kept for the duration of our engagement plus any period required by law (for example, six years for financial records). Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default retention settings.
7. Cookies
This site uses essential cookies needed for it to work, and — with your consent — analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. reCAPTCHA also sets cookies to assess risk on the contact form. You can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict our processing;
- request a portable copy of data you gave us; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these, email info@lmcloud-consulting.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
